The FPRA's submission to the Committee debate on the Freedoms Bill has been presented

Sadly very few peopole understand the issues faced by long-leaseholders, as they keep referring to installing barriers, which is not an option open to most leaseholders.

FPRA Chairman Bob Smytherman will ask Clive Efford MP if he will raise leaseholders oncerns when the Bill returns to the Commons.

Diana Johnson, Labour MP for Hull North will the be HM Opposition's lead spokesperson when the Freedom Bill returns to the Commons.

The 'car clamping bill' is in Committee Stage on 22 March 2011, where it is being
scrutnised. Lobby groups can make representations.

The British Parking Association appeared before the Committee on Thursday 24th to state the case against the clamping ban. They also represented the views of the FPRA (as we were not invited to appear).

The British Parking Association will be appear before the Committee on Thursday 24th at 2.45pm. They will be representing the views of the FPRA (as we were not invited to appear).

The venue is the Grimond Room, Portcullis House.

Second Reading on Tuesday 1 March 2011. As a proportion of the whole debate, little was said about banning clamping.
